OOSEH Origin

"One Over Sadness Equals Happiness” (ooseh pronounced ooo-suh) is a way of looking at problems to make them opportunities:  if something is not providing happiness, try the opposite.  This comes from the design philosophy of “reciprocity” which has deep roots in engineering and science and a philosophy that Debie Slocum’s father Captain John Thurston (USAF) espoused “don’t sweat the small stuff, and its all small stuff”.

Alex & Debie

Debie Slocum has been coaching FIRST robotics since 2004 and Alex Slocum teaches design at MIT . Both believe by teaching people to “create they need not stagnate” people can live life to the fullest.

10% of the income from ooseh.com goes to support veterans’ programs and FIRST Robotics teams.

To sum it all up: be nice :)

It is only natural.
